...asking for luck. J/S is back at the doctor's right now, and it looks like he might be able to have his surgery this Friday. Good thoughts et al that this indeed happens are greatly appreciated.

Oh, and my PDX friends, if this does happen Friday I'm sure Himself will need a ride to and from the hospital, if anyone out there is able to do that. Thank you in advance!

as surgeries go, its usually pretty benign. my mom had it last year and was back to her usual self pretty quickly.

good luck!

Break a leg. No, wait, that's for something else.

Pass like the wind! No, that's not it either.

Get well soon! Hurray!

I'm going to be away on Friday, but of course I'll send good thoughts and luck. Can check in on Sunday with him, if you'd like.

My 81 year old (at the time) mother in law had her GB out and recovered very quickly. Fingers crossed that he sails through it even more easily!

Lots of positive energy sent his (and your) way from Italy. I hope that the surgery is effective, that he recovers quickly and is better than ever afterwards, and that the timing works out perfectly to permit the move to continue more or less as planned.
