No A&S for me :-(

I missed 2 days of work because of my car breaking. I'm taking off from June 25-July 5 for my sweetie's birthday and AT/W War (and Steingrim's Birthday Party! :-) ), so I don't have any vacation to spare. I also need all the money I can get right now to pay off said car repairs, so I can't afford to take any days off without pay. So there you have it, I'll have to make up for the 2 days lost by working this weekend. And just to whine a little bit more, this means that I'm working every day between now and the 25th, since I'm working the weekend of June Crown as well. Poosers. But money is money and a job is a job.

But I'm really sorry that I'll miss A&S (our Arts & Sciences camping event, for you non-Westerners out there). Not only is it one of my favorite events, but Vittoria is putting on a 14th C Italian tavern playspace on Saturday evening. :-(

I'm sure it will all be lovely and a great success! I *might* be able to make the tavern in the evening *if* I can work out doing that and getting in my Brandee time (which would make for a long day day, and I'm not sure I'll be up for that). But, again, I feel super bad about not being able to support cool period playspace efforts/events. Blah.

:-( I am super bummed that the stars are not aligning for you this weekend, but I totally sympathize with how work getting in the way of one's play-time. Of course I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you can make it on Sat. night, but no worries if it doesn't happen. Looking forward to more 14th-c partying at W/AT! ;-)
