Another update for today :-)

1) Looks like I'm going to the Crosston Ball after all. nightbocce's powers of persuasion are very strong. ;-)

2) My coronet is almost done! Morgan will do a fitting on my head this weekend! Yay!

3) I just found out that I'll have billable work in the very near future. Huzzah for a contract to work on! Not starting right away, but there's a SOW waiting for me to read at this moment. :-)

4) I *had* planned on hanging out with my South Bay peeps this evening, but now I can't because I'm being transportation for my project manager and erstwhile BIL, whose car is in the shop. :-( Bummer times two, because I had hoped to get helblonde pin my red kirtles in at the sides again for an alteration. (I knew when I took those dresses in in Aug that I'd have to do it again, and with Estrella around the corner that time is now.)

Back to work now.

You were considering not going to the Crosston Ball? It is close, you get to wear fancy clothes and there's dancing, what's not to like?

My main excuse was that I don't have all my clothes back from An Tir yet. Couple that with this Saturday I don't have to go to the barn, which would mean I'd get a day where I wouldn't have to get in my car and drive over the hill. And I *really* want to hole up in my house and sew right now (esp. to do some Estrella prep so I don't freeze.)

But now I can borrow costume-parts and shoes from Sophie.
