Hey there, in an attempt to get some more cash I'm offering up the following.

-- A Viking 1+ sewing machine with a whole bunch of embroidery extras. I bought it on spec last year at the Dublin Sewing Center for $700. Best offer, but I'd like to get at least $500 for it.

-- A Trek mountain bike, red, fits me. Hasn't been used in 10 years, so I'm sure it needs tires and a tune up. Best offer.

-- Tropic-weight wool. I have lengths of about 8 yards each in red, green, and dark brown. If any of you are interested I'll get the specifics.

Edited to add:

-- 8 yds, 54 in wide forest green tropic-wieght wool. Very fine gaberdine. not washed.

-- 6 yds, 60 in wide red (a blue-red, not an orange red) tropic wieght wool, fine gab. Not washed.

-- 7 (and a bit more) yds 60 in. wide dark chocolate brown tropic-weight wool. Has been washed.

All of this is nice stuff, purchased several years ago from the now defunked Poppy Fabrics. I love it all, but I could really use the cash and I don't know when I'll get to making anything with it.
Make me an offer. I can bring it all to October Crown if some of you would like to look at it.

Edited to add No. 2: OK, it looks like the Very Talented [livejournal.com profile] hunrvogt has purchased the wool. Thanks!

A girl can never have too much tropic weight wool and those are all useful colors (and long enough to do stuff). I'd love to know the specifics.

Thanks for the interest! Would it be possible for you to come out to my place to take a look at it? I might be able to borrow the van to take it somewhere closer for you to see. Let me know! :-)

It might me easier for me to meet you at the barn -- that's about halfway between your place and mine, right?

About -- the barn is 40 min away from me. What day would work for you? Again, I'll have to ask if I can borrow the van, so I need to have some proposed days/times.

Again, thanks for the interest! :-)

Where is the barn? Weeknights are better for me at the moment, and I could probably be there by 6 p.m. Next Mon-Thurs would work.

The barn is super close to our Ed Levine site. Go east on Calavaras like you did to go to A&S et al. Continue past the site up the hill. You will soon see, on your left, a big sign saying Diamond W, next left. A little ways on you will see a driveway to a house on the left, and just past that you'll see a sign for Weller St. Turn Left, go up, and then stay left and go up the driveway. You'll see the indoor arena as soon as you get to the top of the rise. Park anywhere.

I'll talk to Owen about which day I can use the van. :-)

Cool! If that doesn't work, I can always drive the truck up to Livermore -- I just don't have a free weekend day to do it for a couple of weeks.

If no one has put in for the green wool, I'd be happy to relieve you of it.
