A note to all

I have just deleted a comment from the discussion in my last post. I have never deleted a comment before.

I support the free exchange of ideas, whether or not I agree or disagree. I need to have my ideas challenged every once and a while, otherwise I would never learn anything.

But any and all discussion on my journal must be polite. When people start to post in impolite and uncivil ways -- especially if they do not further the conversation in a constructive way -- I will delete said comments.

Well, it is one of those topics that tends to get people's dander up. That doesn't excuse boorish behavior, but it is likely to happen. Politics and religion ... oof. <g>

Yep - what they said. It's your space, your rules. *LOL* I just went to look... and I thought I was walking into dangerous territory, just mentioning my ideas. Didn't want to go a whole lot further with it... but I guess other people did.

Sorry you had to deal with people being rude... religion and politics do make for interesting discussion...
