Hmm. I pre-ordered HP7 from amazon, but I see that they are shipping UPS. To the best of my knowledge UPS doesn't deliver (to my house, anyway) on Saturdays. I'll be disappointed if I don't get it tomorrow, but it_would_mean I'd get more sewing done this weekend. ;-)

I ordered HP6 from Amazon last time, got free shipping and they delivered the book at 8:00am on Saturday. It was awesome!

I have hit and miss luck with UPS in my building--depends on whether the delivery guy on duty can figure out how to get past out locked main door. My guess is I will wind up having to pick it up at the UPS depot on Monday.

I'm sure UPS will be delivering on Saturday.

Of course I've already read it, but that's because J.K. Rowling sent my copy early as part of our negotiation for me letting her publish on my Birthday. *smile*

Ron is actually a killer robot controlled by Voldemort who tries to kill Harry but manages instead to just slip on a puddle of tea....

What? That's what I read! *smile*

(A South Park crossover just hit me ... ack! I realize this is fairly obvious, but ... I can hear the voices in my head ... "Hey, they just killed Harry!" "You bastards!" )

I've never had a problem with UPS on Saturdays -- those trucks are everywhere ...

Am I the only person who's just going to read it whenever? I wasn't even planning on buying it.

I'm getting my copy when it comes out simply because I pre-ordered it to avoid dealing with HP geeks at the book stores for the next four months. I don't think I'll be worrying about reading it until later in the week at the earliest.

Same here.

I do NOT want to stand in a stupid long line at a bookstore with lots of other HP geeks to get my hands on the book when I can have it delivered.

Harry Who?
