Hey there folks! As you may already know, we're having a big Birthday Bash for my sweetie the Friday night of AT/W War (July 3).
The plan is to offer a variety of activities for people to enjoy. On one end (in my little bell and sunshade) there will be a performance space. I'm thinking of this being like the traditional Bellatrix "Pick, Pass, or Play"- type affair. I'm also planning on printing out some Old Westermark/Gerhart von Nordflammen plays (including the Queen's Tale, and Steingrim's saga, of course ;-) ) for read-throughs. :-)
In the general Stallari household sunshade there will be games. Tablaro de Gucci, of course, but other games (cards, dice, Goose, etc) as well -- and Night Bocce, of course! (I have one of those flashing-light sets :-) ).
On the other side we'll have a keg of Rabbit's Foot cyser and a keg of beer(Sierra Nevada? Something decent.)
There will be noshes as well. I'll be up in Portland the week before and I plan on doing some advance cooking. Of course, contributions of food will be welcome. :-)
This year's An Tir/West War is only about one month away, so now's the time for some serious planning. I'm looking for volunteers, I must confess. We'll need:
-- people to act as bartenders (who can also screen obvious underage drinking)
-- ice donations, and the use of coolers to store said ice in.

-- people to help with set up and clean up.
-- Tables and tableclothes.
-- seating/benches
-- Lighting. From previous discussions I'm hoping to use the Bellatix torch and Ula's torch, but we'll need lighting for the gaming tables in particular. And propane contributions are welcome.
-- One or two "entertainment MC's" to keep the performance space both rolling and from being monopolized. Also to make people do play read-throughs. ;-) Also, if you or anyone you know would like to perform that would be lovely!
