Journal Hunt
Jan. 18th, 2008 12:54 pmOver and over again I find references to cool-sounding articles from the journal Costume, which I believe is put out by the V&A. After seeing yet another reference to a Janet Arnold article in said publication, I did some Google searches and came up with a website.
No where on this website was it explained how an individual might acquire an issue of Costume, even the current one, other than and email address for a distributor (psc@periodicals.com). I did find that if I was an institution I could get the publication online. I even found a price for the whole collection (over $2K, if you're interested), but not how to buy a copy of the danged magazine.
I just sent an inquiry email to the psc@periodicals.com address. We'll see if I ever hear back. :-/
PS, thank to
shutt3rg33k I have a new icon.
PSS: Watched the 2005 Gerald Butler Beowulf & Grendel last night. Bad news, it's pretty boring. Good news, that movie has the Cutest Ever black and white paint Icelandic ponies doing their ever-so-cute-trundle gait! :-)
