School for the Courtier update
May. 30th, 2007 01:27 pmIt looks like the next meeting of the School for the Courtier will be Sunday July 15, and will be a 16th C handwriting class taught by aastg. Not set in stone, mind you, but very probable at this point. Yay!
Now I'm trying to figure out a way to have a dance class. I found 3 dance studios in Livermore. I called two. The first one does not rent their space out. The second one was very willing to talk about it. The guy I talked to was going to talk to the other partner this afternoon; he sounded very positive. The key, I'm sure, will be how much they want to charge. :-/
Since we'll be meeting in July I thought a good time to meet again would be in September, which would put School stuff at every-other month (my thinking id that this would not be *too* much everybody's full scheduals). But the September WK Calender is *full*. Running a class opposite Ducal Prize is a possiblity, but that *is* a holiday weekend and folks might just want to enjoy a solid, uncommitted 3-day weekend. The second week in August was said by people on the School Yahoo group to be pretty free, but that might be too soon after the July class. What to do, what to do?
