It's going to be a long night

It is now 12:30 am Wednesday morning. I'm waiting for Roto Rooter to show up because my sewer backed up Big Time. The guy probably won't be here for 2 hours. I had the option of waiting until morning, but I didn't really, because, like I said, this back up is *serious*. Eeww...

Things are cleaned up

The roto-rooter guy finally came and I got to bed sometime after 3 AM. I slept in. Now my day is &*#@#@-ed up big time. But at least it's fixed (and if it isn't I've got a 30-day warrenty).

Thank heavens I don't have to go to the barn today. Oh, and on that note, I didn't get to ride yesterday because M forgot to bring back Brandee's stuff. :-( M remembered just about the time I got to the barn. Brandee got run around the round pen at least.

Now I've been packing. I've had to invest is plastic tubs with lids to pack the new tourney stuff. Turns out I need a couple more than I bought. I'm thinking it will take this tourney season to get a system down.

Put on David Attenboughs (sp?) The Life of Mammals while I packed. Very cool. I loved the part where a troup of elephants walk *deep* into a pitch-black cave to get salt -- who knew? And on the 8th day there was Netflix...

Giddy with excitement...

OK, now that the sewer-disaster is cleaned up, I can go back to being excited about my Beltane Salon/Party. I tell you I feel like a little kid looking forward to a birthday party :-) . And now I'm even *more* excited, because I recieved the writing desk I ordered from Jas. Townsend & Son and it is not only beautiful but it is Super Neato-Cool!!! I'm bringing it, along with the Writing Letters how-to book and the Dover Three Classics of Italian Calligraphy book, and paper and pens and nibs and ink and we can *play*! We can write notes! Our stuffed animals can write notes! It will be great and silly! :-) .

J_I_M_R was able to pick up some stuff for me from the farmer's market (including the ever-popular salmon candy) *and* she made some biscotti, so now we have even more munches for the salon. :-)

Woo Hoo! I'm excited, can you tell ;-) .
