Clerks II

Bottom line: I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. *Definately* not a movie for everyone. My biggest quibble was not fixable, namely, that the same actors played Dante and Randle and they were stiff compared to the 'real' actors. But they just *had* to reprise those roles, really.

In a bizare way one of the things I like about Clerks and Clerks II is that these people are much closer to my reality than what Hollywood puts out. OK, so not *that* close, but the fan/geek rants ring true. Of course, it's hard to beat the Darth Vader Was A Black Man rant at the beginning of Chasing Amy.
