Patting myself on the back
Mar. 21st, 2006 11:19 pmI was really productive tonight sewing-wise. I finished sewing all the loops for my green ropa-coat thingee, so now it is *done*. Done is Beautiful!
But wait, there's more! I also put my corset on my dress dummy and draped a pattern I hope to use for both my tourney venetian and a wool kirtle to wear under the aforemented ropa/coat. I'm aiming for a side back seam that looks more like the Elenor of T gown and those seen in the Moda book (it's straighter and set more towards the side than my 12th Night dress pattern).
And speaking of patting myself on the back, I couldn't help feeling that I deserved some award for braving the incredibly cold and crappy weather to go to the barn and ride Brandee last night. Only one other person was there when I arrived, and she left while I was riding. Either I get karma points for dedication or I'm crazy. :-/
