Long Time, No Update
Mar. 1st, 2004 05:00 pmI've been busy and so haven't had time to sit down and update this darn journal. Now I need a break from work so here goes:
Riding: Life is Good :-) . I was able to get out of the storage shed, which freed up enough money for a 1/2 lease on Jokie.( Read more... )
Riding related--Positive Thinking in an Ironic Age: Per a recommendation from the Confident Rider clinic, I’ve been reading a book called It’s Not Just About the Ribbons, by Jane Savoie. Her mental tricks I’m finding to be very helpful, but I can’t help comparing her Can Do attitude to the Oh, Whatever, self-deprecating approach to life that I and most of my friends have.( Read more... )
Sewing: I’ve made a lot of progress on a bag-sleeve men’s houpalond that I was going to wear with the horses at March Crown. But now there’s no horses at Crown, so no hurry to finish (except to be able to cross it off my list).
Health: Maintaining. Hope to not get sick again.
