callistotoniThis morning I discovered that I may have to rip out some of the handwork I've done on my 12th Night Dress sleeves. In the painting, the slashes have three puffs, whereas mine have only 2. Now, I need to take a look at the dress when I get home tonight, because the aglets I got may be too big for there to be that many on the sleeves. I've only gotten the aglets sewn on 2 of the 4 lower sleeve pieces, so that's a comfort. And it may be that only the top, larger slashes will need to be redone -- again, I'll make that determination tonight when I can take a look at it. But, jeeze, like I'm not pressed for time enough as it is...
At least I've decided to take tomorrow off as well as Friday (which is my B-day, and I have a policy that I don't work on my b-day ;-) ). So after my lesson and Brandee's training ride I'm going to drive around and do errands (like getting groceries before the stores get crazy) and then try to get the tree decorated and finish wrapping presents. That and imposing some order on the chaos that is my house right now.
And on a totally different subject, if you follow the comic For Better Or For Worse, I saw this on another LJ and thought it was spot on:
