I'm such an American...
Nov. 7th, 2006 04:33 pmI cast my vote, then I went and rode my little paint pony. :-)
I hated the fill-in-the-arrow ballots. Ya know, if they were going to go back to paper I liked the punch cards -- I could get though one of those in nothing flat and there was something terribly satisfying about the punching process.
Actually was grumpy this morning, caused by the stupid ballots and someone saying something in a (what came accross to me as) an unnecessisarily rude manner. But going to the barn made me feel a lot better. Brandee didn't clear her stall yesterday, so it was important that she got a chance to run around before being ridden. Since if I ride after work I don't get there until it's dark, I decided to go to the barn before going to work. (In case you don't know, I work on contracts so most of the time my schedual is very flexible.) The day was glorious and Brandee was an angel, so that made me happy.
Now I'll be here at work until pretty late. Oh well, I often do my best writing in the evening.
