Much better today

callistotoniBoy, it's amazing what several hours in the sun can so for a person.
Yesterday continued to be stressful after I posted. It took almost 50 min to get to the barn because of the traffic (a trip that normally takes 20 min). Luckily Brandee was a Very Good Girl, so I felt a bit better after the ride. Still had to do grocery shopping on the way home, so I didn't walk through my door until well after 9 PM. :-P
Today, however, the sun came out, in more ways than one. I had to be at the barn this morning for a lesson and a training ride, and it was really beautiful out at the barn. I got to run Brandee around in the roundpen and there was no line, so she got to absorb some vitamin D. Had plenty of time to tack up, and learned useful things. A good time was had by all.
Next I finalized all my insurance paperwork so it can be sent tomorrow. If I get anything back it will be only a fraction of the worth of the stolen items, because I *think* the policy only goes up to $1500. At this point it's the principle of the thing (and the fact that I got a nasty-gram from the agent saying "I'm closing this account if you don't get me the stuff in 10 days". OK, I admit I have a bad attitude about all this, but it all just gets to me. :-P But it will be nice to have that chapter closed once and for all.
And a meeting that I thought was happening tomorrow got postponed, so there's less stress on the work front as well. Maestrateresa is healthy (OK, y'all know what I mean), and that is a relief. Tonight is sewing, and that's always fun. :-)
I really hope the sun is here to stay. Well, I could stand it if it rained tomorrow, because I don't have to be at the barn, but the sun better be out for good by this weekend or I'm going to get crabby again...

I thought about going to sewing, but decided I'd best rest, what with the ~2 hours of sleep last night....
