A major motivator for this petition seems to be to prevent confusion at interkingdom events when there is a Roses-sponsored tournement, and sometimes ex-principality consorts are included and sometimes not, I suppose disposing of the term "Rose" in the event title and instead specify in the event dedcription that all royal peers are welcome to sponsor fighters. So you could have a Tournement of the Anklyosaur, and say "All Royal Peers are invited to sponsor fighters/teams/participants." That approach may avoid any "what is a Rose?" controversy and any inherent sexism Just a thought.
