16th C Day ar West/An Tir War: Art of Rapier Demo?

Intro: 16th C Day is now officially schedualled to be Saturday, July 3 at West/An Tir War, and will be hosted out of our household (Stallarifannsk)'s tentage.

I just sent off an email to the An Tir and West Kingdom Rapier Marshals asking about if they (or anyone they know) can help with creating a 16th C Rapier demo for our 16th C day.

As I said in my letter:

I would very much like to include the Art of Rapier as part of 16th C Day. I am particuarly interested in some sort of talk and demonstration of the work
being done on translating and implementing the 16th C fencing manuals, and how those techniques are being incorporated into SCA rapier combat. I realize that there will be rapier fighting in the War itself, but our 16th C Day will run into the evening and I'm hoping that a Rapier demo/talk could be held later in the afternoon, after the morning battles.

I believe this would be a good opportunity to show off all the good work that has been done furthering the Art of Rapier in both our Kingdoms in recent years, as well as just a fun time in general.

I'm posting this to see if I can't catch some more rapier fish. ;-) landsknecht_po, mastersantiago, hunrvogt, can you suggest some contacts, or some forums I should post inquiries to? I'd also like to know what we have to do to set up a little rapier list field-- list dimensions/size? Barriers? Marshals? Prior approval? Suggestions as to how to make a 16th C Rapier talk/demo happen?

Question for my An Tir Friends

I just tried to send an email to Ian Cnulle, Guild Master of An Tir's Moneyer's Guild. I used the email address given over at the An TIr Kingdom website, but that came back as undeliverable.

He makes such amazingly beautiful coins, I was hoping he had done some in a 16th C style and I could persuade him to display them at our 16th C Day.

Anyone out there have a more up-to-date email address, or sees him on a regular basis?

Fava Bean Supplier?

Niether the Nob Hill or the Safeway here in Livermore carry fava beans. Any ideas, my foodie friends? I wanted to make a pureed fava bean pottage for this Friday night.
