Need some custom framing done?
Apr. 7th, 2008 01:18 pmThe universe must love me today. Remember how I mentioned that I was going to take my beautiful new scroll in to get framed today? Well, I get to the place and they are having a 60% off on custom framing sale. Huzzah!
So, if you live near Milpitas and need something framed, get yourself down to the Michaels** in the MacCarthy Ranch mall as soon as you can, 'cause I don't know how long the sale will last.
**Now, before you say "Michaels, Ew!", you should know that this particular Micheals has lots of experiance with SCA scrolls. Marguerite has had a bunch of scrolls framed there, and I had my baronial scroll done there as well. They do nice work, folks.
Since I also brought my 21 y.o. viscountess scroll and a photo print of the Moroni Lady in Rose that I got from the National Gallery in for framing, I saved a lot of money. Still spent a significant chunk of change, though. Oh well, I had promised myself that once I got Connie and Rat's scroll I'd finally get around to getting these other two things framed as well -- one more thing I can check off my long-term 'to do' list.
