Must. Start Sewing.

Unfortunately, to sew I've got to clean up my sewing area first. :-/ I think my mental block has been that I've got to do some seam ripping. After sewing the outer-fabric sleeve pieces together I've decided that I need to mount the silk on muslin. Blah.

Looks like a mellow weekend ahead. My trainer had to change her usual Brandee-training-ride-day from Sunday to Saturday, and that means I don't *have* to go to the barn tomorrow. Sunday is penned-in as a Marguerite/Brandee day, so I don't need to go to the barn Sunday, either. I therefore can spend the time I would have been at the barn sewing.

Of course, the big thing this weekend is Ivar's 50th B-day bash Saturday night. I'll be crashing with themselves and driving home Sunday. Should be fun, although I'm still figuring out what I will do to comply with the "festive attire" dress code. :-)
