A Betsy Ross-kinda 4th

Today I fled from the 100 degree tempertures in Livermore to stil-very-hot San Jose to spend the day at Marguerite's. Let's hear it for air conditioning, folks! :-) I spent the day sewing and got a lot done, including getting fitted by g0atface for a couple of things. We were joined by helblonde and moriven and misagillian and leohtulf. G0atface joined us all for a while, along with Juliana and Sir Andrew. BBQ was had, games were played, and, as I said I did bunches of handwork. :-) Poor Brandee, though, she did not clear her stall today. I'm consoling myself with the notion that she was probably too hot to do much of anything anyway.

My current sewing status, cut because, really, it is not very interesting.
