Hail and unique lighting
Feb. 27th, 2007 09:49 pmI arrived at the barn at about 5:30 this afternoon and it started hailing. Alot. The hail covered my windshield. I waited it out, but I still had to get Brandee out in the rain.
When I left the barn at about 7:20 I saw the strangest thing. Just as I was coming down the last slope before Calavaras hits the suburban street -- so I was at the top of a hill looking southwest -- I saw a point of light that flashed really brightly in the sky. I'm assuming it was lightning, but it was like I saw it from one end instead of seeing the streak from the side. Very strange.
