Well that's about all I can think of right now. Overall I'm glad I had my party and got to wear my dress, but being sick really put a damper on my enjoyement of the event.

A few more thoughts from this weekend

I *must* be sick, because I failed to list among my booty the beautiful hand-stitched hankerchiefs made for me by aastg and the_lbk. Thanks again!!!

As most of you know, I brought a pony-keg of peach cyser to the event. After my party and the after-play get together for the Golden Stag Players, we probably only drank 1/2 of the keg. This fact should be taken into account for future cyser purchases.

I'm feeling like I should buckle down and get pictures of me and my costumes for the record. I've never been good with cameras; photos have never been something I took the time for. But now I feel like I should, for my own personal sense of history. Maybe I can con moriven and/or helblonde into a photo day?

Having my own room for 12th Night for both Friday and Saturday night was Totally Worth It, as is the use of room service. :-)

Having my room sort of decorated with my stuff felt really good and made my room a nice retreat. Maybe I shouldn't point and laugh at that part of Best In Show anymore. It was also great to have food so that I didn't have to go out.

Fixed all the thread that I could find on my dress (sewing movie: Seabiscuit). I've decided that I also need to sew a thin black velvet gard around the bottom to protect the hem, which was a trick I saw at Hampton Court.

I miss Brandee. I only saw her on Thursday last week, because I was sick. I hope I feel better and can go see her tomorrow.
