Ah hell, I even want the soundtrack

I didn't think this movie was going to work for me. I'm not a big car fan. The trailers all left me cold. The plotline sounded boring. But Pixar has done it again: charming movie with amazing animation art. Not as complex (for lack of a better word) as the Incredibles, but they took the story in surprizing directions. OK, not surprizing in the global sense-- the moral lesson is learned and all ends happily--but in the tactical sense.
I don't want to spoil the fun surprises for you guys, since I think they are more fun if you don't know. I will say, however, that I never thought I'd ever find tractors funny, but there you are.
Paul Newman steals this movie. OK, maybe not, maybe what steals this movie is the incredible detailed animation. There is an amazing amount of stuff thrown at you in the first 5-10 min of this movie. It all goes by lightning fast and I think Pixar is showing off. Well, go them, they pull it off.
And I want the soundtrack. No big surprize I suppose, but I want to be driving to this music. I don't know if it's because I spend so much time at the barn, but I like country music more and more.
Of course, I've also meant to get the Incredibles soundtrack. Oh, jeeze, I need to get a more reliable music set up for my car...
