Beltane Heads-up
Apr. 24th, 2005 09:48 pmI just got home from our Westermark memory ramble. Wow, I'm pretty sure that everything on those tapes *will not* make it into the final transcript (TMI!) I was tired as I predicted, but the day was very fun anyway. Many thanks to D&A for the munchies and drinks, and a big thank you to madbaker and his wife for feeding *all* of us a wonderful dinner!
But this is my reason for posting. As we discussed today, this Beltane will be the 25th anniversary of the performance of Gerhardt von Nordflammen's An Inspiring Story for Ladies Nursing Regal Ambitions, or The Queen's Tail. Yup, this is the mooing play. In honor of the occasion we will be having a read-through of TQT on Saturday night. I reserve the right to play Matilda (my role in the original :-) ). The play has about 17 characters total, so we will need volunteers to read the other parts. Anybody wanna come play? You can find the play on the West Kingddom History site--just look for the First Folio of Gerhardt von Nordflammen. We'll be bringing copies of the play to hand out, so don't worry about that. :-)
