Scattershot thoughts
Mar. 15th, 2005 09:29 pmStory on NPR tonight that Sears is selling Lands End, because it as a product line wasn't doing for them what they thought it would. Good--I was getting worried about the direction LE was taking.
Heard a group on the radio on the way to the barn called Pink Martini. Liked them, bought thier CD. More wierd driving music!
Also ordered The Incredibles DVD. Every home must have one, obviously ;-) .
Had my lesson on Jokie tonight at the walk only. Was able to use tall mounting block to get on and off--helped bunches. Working on position of lower leg so as to avoid further/future misunderstandings with Brandee.
Rib still hurts, but does feel a bit better :-) .
Reading a book of essays on Tolkien's LOTR and Peter Jackson's LOTRs. Very interesting--esp. in the way that different people can take the same data/things and come away with drastically different takes on them. People get what they take with them, and look for very different things. Also realized that the SCA is a form of fanfiction.
