Rain, crowds, and traffic.

Oh, man, I got caught in the worse of everything today. I left my house at 10:00 AM and I just got home. It started to rain just as I started. At least Brandee was a good girl, and I had a good lesson. But then I had to head off to Borders, and Petsmart and that was bad. Just as I got done there it started coming down in *buckets*, and the traffic was Brutal. Given the rain and the exceedingly slow traffic I decided to go to Safeway instead of Trader Joes, but it turns out that the holiday grocery shopping has indeed started. If Safeway is like it was today I pale at the thought of what it's going to be like in the next couple of days.

And here I thought I was going to be able to clean today. :-/ I want to be done for the day, I really do. But tonight is pretty much the last chance I have to wrap Xmas presies, and the tree still needs to be decorated.

And then there is my 12th Night dress. I did indeed have to rip out the ties I'd sewn in. Blah. Those of you who know me well now that the following is not a new thing for me, but I'm at that stage where I'm resentful of everything I need to do that keeps me from finishing my $%#@& dress. Again, Blah.
