Not that it should interest any of you, but Brandee's massage therapy appointment just got moved from this Saturday morning to next weekend. I had been stressing about how/where I was going to change clothes for Investiture, but now that's not an issue.

Next weekend I'll be in Tarnmist, but Brandee can still get her massage because I have someone at the barn willing to get her out for the therapist, and I can leave a check.

Yup, I balk at paying for a massage for myself, but I'm willing to give Brandee whatever she needs. I am *so* the staff. But Brandee is such an angel, she deserves the best (that I can give her, anyway). :-)

Brandie has you, so of course she has the best.

Did I give you the hoops yet? I don't think I did. Where are you going to dress for the event? You're welcome to come to my house, or I can bring them to the event.

As it happens, I'll still need to get Brandee out Saturday morning, so I'd like to take you up on your offer. I've left messages with misagillian to see if she can give me the keys to your place. Thanks!

Ok. Maf will be there also, so if you don't get the keys just give him a call at our house line 408-746-0081, when you're on your way over.
Any idea what time that would be? I'll be leaving for site around 10:30 since I'm on court.

My goal is to be at the barn at 9:00 AM. I can't say when I'll be by your place, 'cause I never know what will happen at the barn. If no one is around and I can just turn her out, then I might be at your place about the same time you're leaving.

Thanks again, though!

Being the "parent" of a horse is as bad as having human children. I've paid for shoes (every 6-8 weeks), haircuts (so I can ride him without his winter coat making him over-heated), a blanket (because I had his body shaved for winter), doctors visits (just shots, worming and stuff), dentists (I had the most expensive bill in the barn) and a chiropractor for my horse. I think I'll draw the line at the whole "massage" thing... then again, if he really needed it, I guess I'd break down and pay for that as well. Like I said, a horse is as bad as having a kid... good thing my horse isn't about to attend college anytime soon!!! Today, my boy (Derk) had an upset stomach and I'm still worried about him. As of yet, I haven't received a call saying he needs to see the vet... but I'm calling the trainer tomorrow for an update. It's not just the investment of $$$... I actually have fallen in love with my boy. Hopefully, he'll out-live me.
