Jury Duty -- Not out of the woods yet

I called in, and they tell me to call back between 11 AM and 1:00 PM tomorrow. If I go into work there is no way I'd be able to get to Oakland in time, if they want me in the afternoon. Do I chance that? At least I could get work done in the AM, and then tell the stupid court people that I *tried* to get there. Or I could stay home until 11:00, but then if I got called in I wouldn't get any work done at all. Blah.

If you call at 11AM and they want you at 1 PM in Oakland, I don't understand why you wouldn't be able to get there in time. At that time of day, it really shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. even assuming *twice* that, you should still make it...
