The dress I am working on (first new thing in ages) is velveteen and from a completely different pattern from anything I've done before. I am now at the stage where I have to put buttonholes on the sleeves (9 per), and I'm stalling because I'm nervous. It's the first time I will have done buttonholes with the current sewing machine.
This dress requires a new underdress, which isn't started. And I have not found a suitable hat pattern yet.
